My September Favorites

Hi readers!

I wanted to post some of my fav clothing / accessory pieces for this month! My style is constantly changing and evolving. Being in college means a lot of sweat pants and hoodies, but I still love the occasional nice dinner dress. September is the transition month from summer to fall, here in Oklahoma. At night, its so very cold, but during the day you can find me in shorts and a tank top on my way to class. For that very reason, these favorites are all over the place. I hope y'all enjoy!

So I live in sweatpants and loungewear, so I thought a cute pair of sweatpants would be cute to mention. I am super picky with my sweatpants. They can't be too thick and they need to be long enough for my legs. Target, Nordstrom, and other places have a great selection of sweatpants that I love. These cute ones are from Revolve & have a fun pop of color! I think these are perfect for lounging around, but also are appropriate to wear out and about. Pair with a cute tank or cropped sweater; throw on some sneakers and you're ready to go.

I think sweatsuits are super fun & I feel like they take loungewear to another level. I feel way more put together when I am wearing a matching set. This one is adorable & has a fun neutral color that would look great with any skin tone! The shorts with the long sleeve sweater is perfect as we transition into colder weather. I love sweatsuits with sandals or sneakers. These are my go-to when I am traveling or spending a long time in the car. They are so comfortable and perfect for anyone!

I've been loving wearing wireless bralettes with everything! They are so comfy and easy to throw on. Sometimes I am not in the mood to be uncomfortable. Throw this one with a sweatsuit or even with a nice flow top with jeans... you'll be good to go. This cute one is from Aerie & is super affordable. This brand is always super comfortable & last forever! I think it is awesome to have a great color selection of these so you can have one for any outfit you would need.

Next, I want to highlight some fun shoes! Vintage Havana has been my recent obsession. I have gotten all of my friends hooked! I am loving this fun pair. They have a similar fit to Golden Goose. I have been wearing these to class and out and about. I get so many compliments on them. They are a higher price range, but tend to go on sale on various websites. I have one pair that are slides and are lined with faux fur. Those are my favorites.

These Golden Gooses are new to the brand and I think they are so fun. I love this style - they're called the "yeah" style and have been all the rage. These go perfect with a sweatsuit, but also with jeans and a nice top. These shoes are so versatile and get so much better the more you wear them. I have broken all of mine in, so they have become my go-to shoe. These have a neutral base, but have fun neon pops of color and patterns. That means that they get to go with anything you would want them to.

Everyone needs a staple, basic, black leather jacket in their collection. Leather jackets can go with nice dresses, tops, and jeans, but I think they also look great on top of hoodies with leggings. There are so many ways to style these and they will be in style forever. You can definitely find a great one at any price. This one is from Nasty Gal and is a great price. I would recommend Nordstrom or Saks Fifth Avenue for a nicer, more expensive leather jacket.

I grabbed these fun pink pants last semester but have just began wearing them a lot. I think they are the perfect twist on a normal trouser. The light pink color is perfect for any season. They are a great length and are so comfortable. I love bold pants and these are no exception.

I'm obsessing over this oversized turtle neck pullover. Free People is obviously the best, and this sweater might be one of the best pieces they have ever come out with. As you might not know, Oklahoma gets extremely cold in the winter. Last year, I was not prepared, coming from Houston, Texas. The color wave of this sweater is incredible and would look great with some baggy jeans, leggings, or a skirt.

My favorite jeans are KUT FROM THE KLOTH brand and these are so so fun! In some of my past posts, I have talked about my obsession with these jeans. I am loving patterned pants, but they also have an array of basics & essentials for your closet! I have been wearing this pair non stop! They are a neutral in my closet and I wear them for anything. I am usually not a huge fan of skinny jeans but these are an exception.

The BUMBAG from LV is something I am loving right now! It's so easy to sling this across your chest and have your bag available at any point! You can wear it across your waist or across your chest. Everyone needs an investment bag in their collection. It's a feeling like no other when you get to carry something like this bag.

I haven't worn Kendra Scott in years but this chain is amazing.I love how bold it is. The detail on the hook is beautiful. These chunky necklaces look perfect with any outfit. Kendra Scott is a great balance of luxury and affordable. I think it would look great as a staple piece in your collection.
