My Skillset

Three things that set me apart in my professional life are my social media marketing skills, communication skills, and creativity. Here, I will go into depth regarding these strengths.

Social Media Marketing

Already holding three different social media marketing positions in my college career, I have learned the significance of timeliness, creativity, and determination in social media. I am passionate about being consistent with a company's brand and holding true to it's values with the means of social media marketing.

Communication Skills

I believe that communication is the key to running a business and in your everyday life. In order to provide the best means of communication to my clients and fellow employees, I strive to be on call at all times of the day. I provide my peers with various contact methods in order to keep my client involved in the process and informed about changes, outcomes, and issues.

Creativity Skills

Starting an art business when I was only a sophomore in high school was the first step in developing my creativity that lives inside me today. I believe that I stand out most when I put my best foot forward creatively; giving clients and consumers the best work that remains unique among others.

Reflection

Below you will see some samples of work that I have done.

From the Creative Brief, I have learned how to break down marketing and advertising messages into a categorized plan. From the brief, I was able to provide a clear and concise understanding of the project and its goals, target audience, key messaging, and any other important considerations that the creative team needs to keep in mind while developing their ideas and concepts.

Next, my Persona Studies work sample shows how I broke down the target audiences and demographics from a well-known, athletic clothing company. From this assignment, I was able to learn more about breaking down your target audience based on their needs and wants.

The Branding Kit gives direct information, statistics and suggestions for a Norman, Oklahoma local business. This gave me more experience in learning about what a small-business needs, marketing wise, from a public relations team.

The Crisis Communication Plan Book is for the University of Phoenix. This book was made over the course of six months and taught me so much. From crisis communication strategies, management and communication, I was challenged and was forced to use my creativity and critical thinking to create this book with my team.

The News Release work sample is a simple news release to give you a look into my writing style. Over the past three years, I have written plenty of news releases in classes. This is one of the basic things you must have the skills for, in public relations.
